Our Eye In The Sky

I tend to be hasitant whenever I'd pass a car on my motorcycle.
As I meditate on this I realized that it's because due to perspective I see the farther side of the path as narrower than the one I'm currently on, while in fact, the road is almost perfectly straight and of the same width.
Most times our perspective perceives opportunities as threats and blessings as misfortunes.  It dictates how we respond and can either keeps us IN or OUT of peace.
So indeed prayers are vital as they keep us updated from the perspective of God, our Awesome "Eye in the sky" 😊❤

When we get what this video was trying to say, we then started to understand how small and supposedly insignificant we are.
I say "Supposedly", because turned out that the individual that's responsible for all existence, God, proclaimed that He had come SO far and made Himself SO low (isolated & limited) so that He could deliver some pretty heavy stuffs!
You don't do just that to deliver gibberish & cosmos murmurs, no way :D

Depends on how you see it, we Christians receive that as a revelation of Salvation, the ground for hope of eternal life and a purpose of living, non bad huh? :D

I personally grasp all these as a wonderful pattern that confirms that love is by nature .. absurd.  And before you throw any mean comments, pls bear with me as I brake things down a bit ;)

Tolerance

God came to make a way of reconciliation, instead of our evil polluted presumptions.  As a God who sees our future in realtime, saw our pride and simultaneously smelled our stench of decay (and therefore considered us all dead men walking), He acted otherwise, He cherishes us to the highest esteem through His sermon on the mountain & His legacy of love commandments.  Any believers are therefore permanently challenged to meet this standard of tolerance.

It' a shame that some Christians can't seem to place themselves nowadays in the frontline of struggles in issues of tolerance.  I believe it's through love, acceptance & dialogue that we can best share Christ to the world without additional disruptive noises.  When we truely learn to know Him, and when our faith is strongly rooted in God's word there are no rooms neither needs for bigotry.

Living for The Audience of One

I hope it would be a blessing as I'm about to share what I discovered.  As most of you know I've struggled a lot to let my mom go, even after she went away  to be with The Lord.

I meditate so hard on the discussion of mortality and half of it is my own.  Even after we believe, the disturbing fact that physical death involves the ceasing of worldly known self awareness and memories has been a subtle latent terror.

Many people try to find comfort in the hope that even after they are no more on Earth, people will remember them.  And as we might watch in Troy and stories alike, it's the root of all terrible human accomplishments, just to gain fame and to be remembered, a carnal man would do almost anything at any cost in the face of imminent and inevitable death.

And O what a comfort we found in these passages..

Luke 20:38 (NKJV)  For He is not the God of the dead but of the living, for all live to Him."

Luke 20:38 (HEB)  והאלהים איננו אלהי המתים כי אם אלהי החיים כי כלם חיים לו׃

How comforting to know that the maker of all things visible and beyond, at things present and all to come stated in written claimable Word that He is a God who remembers all soul, that in His eyes and His presence we will continue to life.

Can a Simple "Yes" Changes Your Life?

How powerful is the human mind, will, and decision?

I got accidentally "sabotaged" when the app somehow stopped tracking my 1st mile 😅, therefore I booked the worst 1st km ever!  Yet after the run, I broke 1M speed record (again) and 24K per month "Bronze" milestone.

Friends, if the sheer power of will can break through such obstacle & meet such tall order, how much more with our loving heavenly Father can we achieve, and how far can we leave our painful past, defeat, sorrow, and brokenness behind that it would be easier to spot a faint glow of a star in a cloudy night sky?

Hidupmu Bisa Berubah Cukup Diawali Sebuah Kata, Percaya?

Jangan remehkan kekuatan yg muncul saat kamu memutuskan sesuatu!

Tanpa sengaja si aplikasi "menyabotase" jogging Saya pagi ini, 1 mil pertama tidak tercatat 😅, alhasil rekor 1 km terburuk tercetak sudah.  Namun setelah memutuskan utk menolak mentah2 stigma, dan tetap berlari akhirnya hari ini Saya memecahkan 2 rekor (lagi), 1 mil tercepat dan 24 km etape per bulan!  Jika kita meyakini bahwa kegagalan kita itu "permanen", maka keputusan buruk akan segera mengikuti keyakinan itu.  Tapi jika kita meyakini bahwa kehidupan itu "perjalanan" dimana apapun bisa terjadi kemudian (termasuk hal baik), maka kita akan BERJALAN dan seiring waktu akan tiba dan MENCAPAI sesuatu.

Jika kekuatan kehendak kita, kata "ya" dan langkah kaki yg demikian kecil dpt mencapai demikian banyak.  Betapa jauhnya kita dpt meninggalkan kesedihan & kegagalan masa lalu bersama Bapa kita yg adalah sepenuhnya kasih?

Sobat, saat Dia berkata bahwa keturunan sang bapa iman akan tak terbilang seperti bintang di angkasa  banyaknya, renungkan lah bahwa langit itu sungguh jauh tak tergapai, tapi asalkan itu jalan yg Beliau tunjukkan, asal  kau berkata "ya" dan mengambil langkah pertama, kau akan ditibakan-Nya ke kemilau kekal di sana.

My Newfound Jogging Spirituality

God gives us purpose & He intends us to discover it through processes of recovery, nourishment and empowerment.

 

Today my NRC+ app award me with Kevin Hart's uplifting and cheery tones for a job well done. So far I've run the longest and farthest.  But what exactly have I learnt from the new passion for jogging?

It's the fact that within a properly trained & functioning physical body, there's less room for depression, thus bad mental state are not our default state from God's factory.  That strong mental and peace of mind are in God's intentions for us.  And through His Son Jesus, the way is open for our spiritual man to tap into those currents of life-giving water, to nourish and heal our mind, body, and eventually our lives.

Secondly, "purpose & meaning".  You'll never know deeper meaning of struggles & endurance until you walk those long miles.
Through thirst, fatigue even disorientation, you struggle (and pray) for those next milestone to be created, for records to be broken.  Through desires, struggles, victories, disappointment and hope, we learn that purpose is not something we achieve or grasped at the end, it's being woven through each feet and yard, and finally at the finish line our purpose have knitted in us wonderful godly characters.
