I'm one of u, i despise arguments & conflicts, i love being solitary and left alone where my mind & creativity best function, i take harshness and mindless acts & comments personally and they left me unbalanced for extremely long times.
I never thought with all these traits that I'd ever become ahead in life as one actively engaged in interpersonal things.
Then came along tragedies, huge waves tsunami-like. I was forced to take matters I feared the most into my own hand, everyday since, I was challenged to step up and leave a person I used to be. If someone told me I was going to have new prospects and network opening key talks everyday, I'd never believe it even a sec. Now, I'm in that exact thing.. Expanding, pioneering, stewarding God's gift of courage, sailing to the unknown.
So yes, you can be melancholic, sensitive, intuitive, artful, unique even antique sometimes, and you can leave your mark on earth, huge ones. God give that deep perception not only for you to feel pain, sorrow and depression.
No my friend, He's given you a heart to feel & express enormous joy and gigantic empathy to others' struggle as you accomplished ahead of them.
Trust me, you've read this, written by a mellow :)
